I feel that the top bearing works well and reduces steering force. A large company in North Carolina that rebuilds M37's does this conversion also. Some say that the rollers will bunch up and cause breakage. For that to happen, a roller would have to be smashed/reduced in size to make room for others to move into its place.

Further, we are now looking at non stock on NOS top bushings and are being forced to use repo's that are of poor quality, already out of spec. My vote is witht he bearings. My Carryall, M37 and in the future on the upgrade PW will all have bearings.
