I have seen that before on the newer trucks weather sripping. I own a 2002 3/4 ton, the last year for that body style, and luckly it isn't happening on mine yet.
My uncle had it happen on his 99 and he went to the dealer which luckly they had one set left. I don't know what he paid for them though. It might be hard to get at a dealer now. After all, it's already a 10 year old truck!! Have you tried a windshield shop or body shop?
