I spoke on the phone with a woman at the Chrysler Archives about getting a build card for my 1950 FFPW. The door jam VIN plate is missing,and said she needs that info. She told me that the frame numbers won't turn up it's build card ? Also I was told that the truck would have been sold through a dealer. I explained that the truck's off white original color wasn't a factory production color in 1950. Wet sanding the doors reveiled Atom Energy Commission.
Is there away through all this to get it's build card. It would certainly add value to the truck.
Question, trucks built for the U.S. government in 1950,wouldn't they be shipped directly to that Government department from the factory ?
I've tried researching the Atomic Energy Commisson and the later commissions but to no avail.
