Allen, When I tow with my 1999 CTD with the same gears as yours I average between 14 and 17 mpg. I have the auto with two wheel drive and a Club cab short bed. The 17 was with the carryall and the 14 was with the Fire truck. The Carryall will tow 75 no problem but the Fire truck 60 is pushing it. Thanks Dan H
