Think about in your case 2100 is the number, because you have backed out and "cruising"
Most important is the "BOOST" is down too?
If you had to keep feed the pedal the boost goes up in relation the the fuel being deliverd. You have a boost gauge on yours?
I have one one my "Dually" and I can pull over 30psi on a long hard pull. My engine has no "Waste Gate" valve, so you can heat things up quickly if not carefull.
Thats why in later engines they use a gate system to hold down the power/heat.
