Well put. With all new parts (motor, transmission, tires, pto, winch, front disks, PS) it's about $15000 for parts. It could drop to as low as $5-6000 with a lot of scrounging. Plus the cost of the vehicle, which could be as low as $1-2000 for an non rusty M37 with a dead motor. Or as much as $7500 (or more)like the case of my 42 Carryall. Doesn't really matter. Detroit will never make light duty vehicles with that gauge sheetmetal, frames that thick, etc. ever again.
