Steve I just returned from a 2700 mile trip in a 99 F250
with the new V-10. Ford claims this truck has 500 ft #'s of torque.
This is crap! Mine was also the lariet crew cab with single rears. I pulled a
24 ft flatbed that weighs 3,000lbs and the truck on top weighed in at aprox #8400.
Going through WY I was lucky to get 50 miles an hour for a steady speed, granted there were 60 mile an hour winds
But when you spend $30,000 you expect some power.
As for comfort and room? Not in this Crew Cab my 92 F350 had way more room and style.
The seats are not bad for driving, but if you ever whant to pull over to catch a couple of winks forget it, very uncomfortable!!
