If you have duals for load capacity, be cognizant that 9.00R16 Michelin XZLs have a max load capacity of 4240 lbs/tire @ 80 psi - single. You will have immensely better offroad traction and better ride and handling with big radial singles. Michelin also makes a 8.25R16 XZL, it's 34.0" and 8.9" wide. Also hard to get, expensive. Load capacity is 3200 lbs @ 65 psi. They might work dualled for you. but I'd go with the 9.00s. With 4.89s your rpms at 60 mph will be 2760. Therefore "safe" 2500 rpm cruise will be 54-55.
