Hit on this on Forum #19 but you may have missed it so here it is again. The US military forces did use the civilian Power Wagon, both in truck and the panel/ambulance form. Depending on how it was sourced it may or may not have any military data plates on it. These plates may be in the dash or glove box area, on the inside of one of the doors, on on the firewall area. The US Army and number 2448691 would be the US Army registration number, which is not the same as the VIN. Your truck was attached to Fort Sam Houston in Texas.
