Are you sure of what you have? The 270 wasn't used after '56. You probably have a 315. It's a better engine anyway. You also have a W200. D200 was a two wheel drive truck.
Does it look like other '57 Dodge trucks or does it look like a late 30's early 40's truck. If it looks like and older truck than other 57's, it's a W300.
Dual wheels are not common on 3/4 ton trucks but not unheard of. On another note, do your spark plugs go through the middle of the vavle covers or are they on the side of the heads.
