Under parts sources, give Robert Motor Parts a try, they periodically get them in. To rebuild the unit try www.transferflow.com There are universal sending units for about $20.00 part stores carry. You buy one for a dodge. I bought one and put in my truck (56). It was a little larger that the stock tank port (had to file it a little). It also used six screws, so I had to drill holes. It came with a rubber gasket, but I also used gas resistant silicone seal when putting it together. Unit worked fine, with no leaks. There may be some NOS seals for the sending unit still around. If you rebuild and need one, post your need. When you work on your tank, also check inside for rust. You may want to use a gas tank sealer, and seal it to keep it in good shape. Good Luck!
