I posted this in the last forum. I forgot Joe was about to refresh it before the dreaded New Year.
I got new shocks for my '52 PW yesterday. The number I had been given in September has been changed. Rather than the Monroe # 6707, it is now Monroe # 66707. They ran about $25 and change plus tax. The same size but bright yellow. Now of I can get those @#%&*%$ cotter keys out. They were put in upside down and have been smashed. They've broken and I'm havng a booger of a time getting them out. If I can find another castelated nut, I'm goimg to cut it off to replace the one shock.
