Steve, reading these comments it occured to me that all of us have been commenting on the Navistar or Cummins engine. There's a lot more to the truck than just the engine of course. One of the things I really don't like about my F250 4x4 is the twin I beam front axle. I drive off road a lot and it is constantly getting out of alignment, as did the F150 I had before. The straight front axle of the Dodge should not have this problem, nor should the F350.
Of course the ride is better in the Ford, which is one of the problems with modern trucks. If a person is worried about the ride, they ought to get a car.
