Oddly, didn't find any reference to C-4-PW in my limited library. Joe's "Model Year Detail" & "Database" mention C-4-PW. I can't figure out Roger's reference to Joe's spec page - only a '55 & '61 are listed ? Here's the limited info I have:

* "Dodge Pickups - History & Restoration Guide 1918 - 1971" pg. 175 list models as follows:
- '53: B-4-PW $2,307
- '54: C-1-PW $2,307
- '55: C-3-PW $2,449
- '56: C-3-PW $2,449, changed to 12 volt elec sys, pg. 173. ('55 on Joe's changes page?)
- '57: W300 $2,636
- No listing at all for a C-4-PW ??? Interestingly, no C-2-PW as well.

* "Standard Catalog of 4 x 4's: 1945 - 1993" ("Std Cat") pg. 112 indicates:
- '53: B-4-PW $2,307
- '54: C-1-PW $2,307
- '55: C-3-PW $2,317, serial numbers as Joe indicates on "Model Year Detail" page.
- '56: C-3-PW $2,510, serial numbers as Joe indicates, but as a C-3-PW designation ???
- '57: W300 $2,669, specifically mentions 12 volt, not noted in '55 or '56 ???
- Again, no C-4-PW or C-2-PW listed at all.
- All specs (engine, suspension, options, etc.) are identical.

* "Dodge Trucks" by Don Bunn, the green hardback covering 1916 - 1996 &
* "Dodge Pickup Color History
- no help from either one.

That's an awful lot for no C-4-PW info. However, this has helped illustrate each source of info can be a little different - prices, model year changes, etc. And can sometimes be a little wrong. "Find" Casey's posting on Nov 3, "Re: '57 W200 Questions." He thought he was tracking down a 341.6 engine (as stated in the "Std Cat"), when in fact it's a 314.6 (315) engine - simple transposition. The stock engine was a 315 (not 341), but could have been swapped & now he's trying to locate the serial number for positive id. Be careful what you read.

I will say this, I must not be looking in the right places, because Joe's info is usually right on the money !!! Would appreciate anyone's clearing this one up. Are the books wrong ??? What's up with this ???

Also, in case you try, my email has been on the fritz for about 3 weeks. I'm working to correct (hopefully soon Mark Pfeiffer). !@#$% computers - such great tools that can frustrate beyond belief.

Cheers, JB
