Advance apologies for getting a little off subject here -- it is an M-37 I've trying to move, however.
Anyone had good experience with a carrier who can move a vehicle on the East Coast (from Boston to D.C.) at a reasonable price? Any warnings or helpful hints from folks who have had their MVs shipped?
A couple big operations have quoted prices of about $650. Am I dreaming to think I can find someone reputable to do it for $400 or less?
One last thing -- this truck has the deep-water fording kit. Am I correct in assuming the exhaust extension and air-intake pipe will both need be off in order to get it on most carriers' trailers?
All insights would be appreciated.
