Like Dave says, I'd be inclined to at least take it for a test drive----sorta, keeping in mind that irregularities between the ring and the pinion are going to accelerate wear. Wear means metal flakes that are going to infiltrate the pinion bearings and the full-floating wheel bearings, the spiders, etc. It's going to fail sooner or later. To me, the biggest problem is knowing it and wondering when. It's the suspense that would get to me!
