Thanks for the follow up. I agree completely with your statements. My comment was based solely on the feedback I received from this forum when I asked what that very same truck was worth (I was told $4-5K) a year or so ago. I first saw this Van Pelt PW when I moved into the Bay Area some eight years ago, and it has (or had) never moved an inch since. Always sad to see one forgotten like that. Have no doubt that if the folks on this forum told me it was worth $15k back when I sought advise, I would have immediately bought that truck for the $4k they originally asked for it, and then either re-sold it like Steven or restored it myself. Having recently purchased an M37 starter project, and having watched this forum for quite some time, I have come to rely on the expertise and sage advise of folks like yourself. As for the $100 Rolls Royce? Well, I'd ask if he had two, buy & sell 'em both, and then buy every size & shape of military & civilian flat fender I could get my hands on and wallow in eternal bliss.
