the original filter (screen) on the fuel
pump & the glass bowl allow one to see the
fuel color & clean out the sediment
I like you installed a plastic filter between
the fuel pump and the carb
with that in place one can see the pulsations
of the fuel pump
before I had my tank cleaned i put an elec
pump back at the tank with a switch on the
dash not really needed anymore.
most of the fuel problems described on these
forums are the result of dirty tanks and or
plugged pickup tube in the tank
radiator shops "BOIL" them out
the only real way to clean out the crud
