I agree with the posts below. They are out there and commonly show up at the "junkier" type of farm auctions (those are the best kind anyway). I bought mine from a reseller in North Carolina who had 7 of them sitting in his lineup. It was made by the Dellinger Manufacturing Co. of Lancaster PA. It was complete with guards and is kind of unique in that it actually wore the Dellinger name plate. Dellinger was a major supplier of saws to other companies and most of their units you find will be wearing Dearborn or Ferguson name plates, or Newgren or Monroe decals. Good blades are hard to come by. They need to be at least 24" in diameter to be of any real use. 32" diameter works much better. They are very dangerous pieces of equipment. Personally I would look for a manufactured one before trying to build one. If you do go that route, I do have a spare shaft, mandrel, and drive pulley assembly if you need one.
