The paint can thing reminded me of back in the late 70s, a Military munitions train caught fire while in the Roseville RR yards and 250, 500, and 1000lb TNT bombs started blowing! I was at the time going to college and working part time for a couple who had an antique radio store and home located about 400 yards from the first cars that exploded! It was just about 8 am and the percussion from the first bomb sent the couple in their bed right through the back bedroom wall! They were UNHURT!! According to the experts, the percussion actually removed the wall then the suction following it pulled the couple, bed, and other loose items out through the hole!! I was summond at 8:15 to go on duty as a Sheriffs communications officer and I was at a command post about 2 miles away! The 500 & 1000lb bombs would knock you off your feet that far away! The local population was over 25,000 at the time and in a 5 mile radius there were no major injuries!! Not even in the rail yard! The bombs were flying and exploding for about 5 hours!! To this day they still occaisionally find an unexploded bomb usually buried where it landed in someones front or back yard!! It was quite an ordeal!!
