On three seperate trucks through the years (all FFPWs) All 3 had a split in the line about under the cab rear and bed front ( the line is on the drivers side inside frame ) I guess just moisture and age caused the line to rust or split out!! The first one was puzzeling untill I pressuroized the fuel tank and saw gas dripping along the line! You can pressurize the tank by taking a NON VENTED gas cap, install an air chuck in it and set an air regulator to LESS THAN 2 PSI and apply air to tank..it will take a while before you see any leakage, but this pressure will not damage the tank by over expanding it!! Let off pressure gently too! OI have used this method for flushing the fuel lines out too and purging the gooey old gasoline from the lines. It works well.
