Eric, If you want a good anvil you may want to stop in at the Blacksmith's swap meet, its called the Quad state roundup, 3rd weekend in september, Miami county fairgrounds, about 15-20 miles north of Cincinatti, OH. on I-75. Prices are reasonable and usually you can find a very good vise and anvils of all sizes. Of course these are all old old pieces that were made very well, usually in England. Good luck, Gene in MI.
