You won't have to worry about that old K-30.
They where built back when Trucks, were Trucks, except Ford. They never did get it right. I can remember when my "77" was 3or4 years old, and the original engine was closing in on 200,000 miles, when we had a "cold" snap of -16 one morning and fired right off. knocked pretty bad till oil press. came up,but then we are on our way.
