total gross weight======33000lbs
my truck & trailer======11500lbs
minus the truck&trailer=21500lbs (load)

So do I think I was over loaded NO not at all so were did the 21500lbs go well it was on the trailer!! the scale said I had 7800lbs on my truck axles and 13700lbs on my trailer axles if you add the 7800lbs with the 13700lbs you get WHAT 21500lbs PRETTY neat how MATH works!!! UH so is a 14k trailer able to handle 21500lbs I think so, It's CALLED WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION Please tell me if I'm Wrong!!!
