My dad, took us boys out countless times while growing to do the same thing. He got wise though, and put the automatic in the closet. 'Got a lever action and bolt action. We learned to place the shots better and the ammo bill dropped by two thirds!

If our poor VP had had firearms safety woven into his soul like we did, he would not be the butt of every stand up comic and cartoon writer in the country.
