If you have access to a stick or wire feed welder, place a larger nut over the broken stud and weld the inside of the nut to the broken stud. Fill up the inside of the nut to the top of the nut and try to take it off. You may have to do this several times. If the broken stud is very short, place a flat washer around it and weld the stud to the washer, then weld the nut to the washer as mentioned above. Sometimes between tries let it cool down and do it again. Good luck Dan H
