the other day I was lost in the archives and somewhere in there is a link to another sight with instructions to rebuild. Seems there are modern guages available of the non electric type that you can adapt to your guage face. I think you freeze the new one, cut the tube on your old one, cut the new one while the end is packed in ice, then soldr new tube to old face. I think it was from 02-03, and at that time the price of the new one to cut was pretty cheap. I have not done one, and cant tell you any more, but the info is in the archives somewhere.Good luck, WAG
