Hi Norm,
Yeah, I have come to that same conclusion. As I cant buy just 1 ring anyway, I will be into the whole set so I may as well use them. I realise I will need to gap the new rings, but is it kosher to put new rings in without honing the cylinders? I see this engine refresh slipping into an engine rebuild, and I really did not want to go there.
