2006 has become my year of project consolidation. As a result I have a ‘43’ WC-53 Carryall that I am looking to sell. This is a project that I picked up 7 years ago as a basket case it is in much better shape now. Much work has been done to it, however much remains and I am finding it harder to find time to devout to it with my new house, my new little boy and the masters program I working on. I am looking to get $3500 out of the project. Here is a bulleted list of the major stuff.
- ‘43’ WC-53 body and frame are in good condition. Have all carryall specific sheet metal. Most of the body have been sandblasted and primed the exception being the driver and passenger side doors. Body includes the rear top and bottom tailgates and the running boards and the side antennae mount. The bottom half of the tailgate is hammered pretty good but salvageable. I have all the windows and window hardware including regulators. The Carryall has a12 volt system with what appears to be the correct stock gigantic 12-volt generator.
- All carryall running gear is still on the frame. Minus the motor and tranny. Running gear appears to be in pretty good shape. Tranny was in good shape prior to removing from truck for motor rebuild.
- 3 or 4 combat rims. I can’t remember. Right now it is rolling on all four but some are split rim wheels.
- Rebuilt 230 motor, I just spent $2500 on the rebuild. I essentially had 3 230 motors and made one out of three. Everything in the motor has been reworked from the head to the pan. Note - the 230 is not a T-214 motor.
- Parts WC-57 - it was a shame that this WC-57 got so hammered. I got it primarily for the running gear and fenders. I have no title for this rig. This one is very far gone restoration on this one would be a challenge beyond most mortals. There is no windshield frame.
- Two speed NP transfer case out of a 53 Power Wagon I believe. I can’t remember the specifics of the deal that brought me the transfer case.
I am sure there is other stuff just can’t remember what all I have. This is the bulk of it. I could make more money parting this thing out, however that would be a damn shame. I have to sell this as an all or nothing deal. The only parts I would negotiate on leaving out of the deal is the WC-57 if you don’t what to deal with the extra parts. The Carryall has been in Arizona and California for all it’s life from what I can ascertain. I found some interesting markings when stripping it. Currently it is titled in Arizona. I am in the phoenix area. I do not have electronic pictures of it right now, however should have some by the end of this week. In my move I have not found my pictures to scan and the garage door on my garage is stuck shut so I can’t move it out to take new pictures of until midweek when the repair guy is scheduled to come fix it.

Thanks
