I'm not sure if "pouring out the back" means the opposite end from the push rod or the end near the back of the truck. If it's the opposite end from the push rod, then it sounds like it's leaking around the fitting for the brake line. There are also 2 other spots near the back that are sometimes drilled and tapped and sometimes just have pipe plugs in the holes or other times have a brake light switch in one of the holes. I also have one that has a plug on the bottom with a straight fine thread and copper washer. Any of those plugs or fittings could leak. If it was leaking around the piston, it would be coming out the push-rod end and a large amount will probably spill out if you remove the boot.
