It's a 270... different block altogether I believe. The 241 and 270 were the same block, the 331 I believe is a whole different casting. With mine, yeah, the bellhousing I have and everything else, all match right-up to the original tranny (How handy is that!?!?).
My son called awhile ago, UPS dropped off the cam and lifters I ordered - WOO-HOOO!! I can stick this thing back together now!!
