Lately, I have been rebuilding original King-Seeley governors for POWER-WAGON and Jeep collectors, and original Pierce governors for the POWER-WAGON. I have also converted other governors from these two companies, that were designed for other applications, in order to work on the POWER-WAGON. I have seen a LOT of different versions for a LOT of different applications. I am not sure exactly what application your King-Seeley may have come from. Notice that yours has a much shorter snout that what T-roy shows in his images. (This would be the part of the casting between the main body and the pulley that houses the bearing on the mainshaft). If your governor mounts the main body to the snout with 4 screws, instead of 6, and it has an unmachined boss in the body casting hiding behind the control spring, I may be able to convert it to work on a POWER-WAGON. From the angle of your photo, it looks like your particular casting may be lacking the required boss. I would also need to know the bolt pattern in the flange on the snout that would mount the governor to a bracket. Are the bolt holes in a triangle arrangement, or are they pretty much all in line with one another? More photos of 3/4 views would help.
