I even bought a bunch of parts books and service manuals for these motors, and still no breakdown for years.
There should be tags on the passenger side of the block with more info on them, look there for the year.
Also check the casting number down by the distributor, sometimes there is a date there.
I have pictures of the tags somewhere, but I think they should be easy to find if they are still there.
