OOOOOOOOOOPS! My BAD! Before I bought this truck, I went to my reference library for detailed information. As I was hungrily devouring facts and had gotten to the brakes, my eyes greedily jumped at the words, "ventilated disc" which was what I wanted to read. I honestly looked at the front axle, but in my minds eye, I was seeing ventilated disc brakes.
I went out and looked again. No front disc brakes. I came back in and went to my reference. I had skipped over the word, "Wheels." The truck has ventilated disc WHEELS.
This is a typical case of reading what you want to read. The brakes work so well in the little driving I've done that it was easy to believe that disc brakes were invloved.
