I straight-piped my '06 recently. Only 7500 miles on the truck, but there is a noticeable difference in power, especially on a hill. I am considering a more open muffler, but I like the sound of it straight. When the truck is idling and the Jake brake is turned on, it makes a weird whining sound at the tail pipe. JH
