Just got home from B-J auction. Talked to new owner of Power Wagon(actually it's a M-37 thats been tricked-up) as he was starting the truck. He has no previous knowledge of these trucks and asked me if $48,000 plus 8% buyer's commission was an appropriate price. I said yes and so far no bolts of lightning have struck me. Considering that a !970 Chevelle SS convertible sold for $1,200,000 this evening maybe it was a bargain. Frankly it sickens me to see these kind of prices paid by people who are merely looking for a new toy. My worry is that eventually only the very wealthy will be in the old car and truck hobby. And now, I will step down from my self rightous podium and go to bed.
