A lot of these Phishing scams use an actual E-bay, PayPal, etc address to fool you better, so if you block the address you will no longer get Legit E-mails from E-bay, etc.

If you know the address is not a normal E-bay one, then no problem, block away.

In general, Delete, Delete, Delete.

If you are going to block, make sure you only block that address, not the host address, like yahoo.com. If you block yahoo.com because you got spam from funstuff@yahoo.com, now your friend who is georgesmith@yahoo.com will not be able to E-mail you either.

Just block the actual address you got the E-mail from, and only if you know that address is not one the company you want to deal with actually uses.

Be safe!

Eric
