I have a 1987 half ton 4x4 with the vacuum locking front end. I'm not sure exactly how it works but I know mine doesn't work right.The previous owner put a NP203,and automatic tranny out of an early ramcharger in it and nothing works right.I found out it should have a NP208 in it, so I purchased one,the tag reads NP208.I dont have any of the vauum lines or the adapter that goes between the tranny and transfer,or the shifter.Knowing that the 208 is part time, I was wondering could I take a manual locking front end out of a dodge or a chevy truck and make it work right, or should I find everything to put it back the way it should be,and if that's the case can you show me a diagram of how the vacuum lines run?I know it's not a power wagon but it's still a DODGE, and I looooove DODGE!
