That is interesting, I wasn't really wanting to go higher than stock, because of related problems. Just bring them back to original ride hieghth. I was judging where the ride hieghth should be by watching the pinion angles. I don't know if that is right or not but it seems to me that the driveshafts should go straight into the 3rd member not at an angle like they are now. Currently the pinions are pointed more up in the air towards the truck body, while the driveshafts are more paralell with the ground.

That is also interesting about the retempering process. I have heard people talk about this, but the spring shop I had gone to awhile back, (whom didn't want any part of this project because of the 60 year old springs) didn't mention anything about it. They did however mention putting in another leaf to help keep the pack from flattening out over time.
