I run 38.5 x 15.5 x 16.5 Dick Cepek Fun Country tires on my PW. LOUSY in the MUD; GREAT in the sand/highway. Misleading however as rated at 38.5 inches tall they are actually just a bit ovewr 36 inches!
I run them on 12 inch rims with tubes for airing down more safely. Got stuck in some quicksand like sand near a pond this fall and had to winch myself out. The look of fear on the 2004 Ford Superduty crewcab longbed that I was using as an anchor...as he skidded deeper into the sand until I started to lift out...priceless! I then stepped on the brakes and pulled him back up.
