If so, depending upon the span, you could add 2x rafters above them to create space for R-30 batts. Then sheath and re-roof. Caution that this is just a concept and proper spacing and size needs to be calculated based upon the size of the existing roof span. Engineering or suggestions should not be given over the internet without complete background information.
