ND Military Tires

Military ND tires seem to be the standard for original flat fendered PW's. I find them useless, if not dangerous on Adironack,(Lake George) NY roads with ice and snow on the roadway. They are only good for off road travels, where they are self cleaning in mud pies. Even then, I choose to mount chains on the dry land before entering an old logging trail. Much easier on dry land than when stuck in the mud or swamp hole!
