I haven't done a buy back since the 70's. Then, a Mercury was 15%, 4x2 was 20%, 4x4 was 22%. I just talked to a guy yesterday, F150 x2 was about 22%, last week.
My guess is the buy back depends on their recent salvage auctions of similar class/year/make/model ?
But if the other guy's insurance is paying, they should let you keep it and pay full amount- or tell them to replace it! It will be easier for them to let you keep it.
