My post above was not intended to disparage your truck, only disparage the guess about the worth given the great lack of information. It could be worth $28,000, but for serious inquiries you need to give some adequate information, more than a "I'll put this up against any truck" type of information. Always include photos, good quality photos of the truck with a plain back drop so that the truck is shown in the best light. Always take the photo with the sun at your back, but stand so that you don't leave shadows. Show all of the sides and under the hood in the photos. Show the interior. List the mechanical condition of the truck, list any defects or conditions that will be obvious to a buyer if they travel 2,000 miles to see the truck. Don't say "primo" if the chrome is pitted and the paint is poor and the glass is cracked. BS in the add and you'll lose a sale when the prospective buyer shows up. Try to be objective but list the good points. One man's treasure is another man's junk. If the doors ar eheld on by bungies, say so. I've bought and sold a lot of vehicles in my time and seldom does the description meet expectations, on a few occassions a vehicle will exceed the discription, but that is rare and that is a vehicle that will soon be sold. If the components are original or rebuilt, note that. If it needs an overhaul, note that.
Not much is expected for these trucks in stock, original condition and the very few that stick out are sold quickly. Most of these trucks were rode hard and put away wet and serious collectors know what to look for and know a deal when they see one.
