I have two WW2 GMC 6x6s, the 270/302 is very tall and too long. If there's a will there's a way, of course the back of the 270 block would reach into the PW's cab a few inches. Thats why the WW2 jimmy's fenders and hood are so blasted long and the front axle is so far forward.The 270 is a great motor and a OHV at that ! Advanced motor in it's day.
