Because of the new warrenty standard I think I'd buy a truck ahead w/o the plow -- drive it untill the warrenty expires then put a plow on it -- -- Perhaps by then a used one would come on the market that came off of a new truck from back when you bought yours --- Course some of the manufactures have a limited high-mileage warrenty on the drive train so you might be waiting awhile to put your plow on --- --
