I have no experience with western plows but have had Meyers on a couple of my past trucks. I had a meyers on my 90 Dodge diesel, I put a 10 year old used meyers on that 90 when it was a year old and ran it plowing 30 driveways for 2 years then just my own stuff for another 6 years. I had a to replace a solenoid once, and it went thru about 3 quarts of fluid a season. but it was old and worn. The meyers does ride up on top of the heavy snow sometimes. Right now on my 04 I bought a fisher. It is really heavy. Like Lube said, It a matter of personal preference. Why don't you go look at them and see which one is built stronger and check which lifts faster.
Are you just plowing your own stuff? if so It probably doesn't make much diffrence.
