The owners manual and the sales brochure are the best place to find the gross combine weight ratings (GCWR) for the truck. This is your best resource for deciding what the truck is capable of towing. If the DOT gives you trouble, this number and the weight rating on your tag are your two pieces of data to defend yourself.
