It's not necessary for the dealer to install, as long as you buy the Mopar approved unit. (According to people at Jacobs, Cummins, and my local Dodge dealer) Of course, I wouldn't have my local dealer do anything beyond adding windshield washer fluid unless it was under warranty or would affect my warranty. :-(
