I just wanted to spread the word that the new Mega Cabs are wonderful!!. I just traded my 2004 Power Joke F350 King Ranch for a 3500 Cummins Mega cab with the Cummins. What a treat!!. The truck rides extremely well and has a much better turning radius than the Ferd even though its longer.The bed is adequate for most loads but its capable of pulling any size trailer I can hook to it.I drove it over 150 miles today and averaged 14 MPG. I hope that the mileage will improve with break in. My Ford averaged 17 MPG empty. I had a 2002 Cummins 3500 dually prior to the Ford but it was not nearly as civilized as the Mega Cab.
For those of you considering a new truck I would strongly suggest you drive one. You will be pleasantly surprised. By the way, the dealers are really hungry for sales. I bought the truck for nearly 10k off MSRP!!
